These are amorphous solar panels made in Asia under the control of one of the largest US manufacturers. They have an aluminium frame with additional corner protection  to reduced shock if accidentally bumped.The cells themselves are protected from the environment by a clear glass covering. These amorphous solar panels are manufactured to a high standard and will deliver 1 watts on a bright sunny day. Note. The output from amorphous solar panels gradually decreases over years, unlike polycrystalline which do not.

Includes battery charger cable and clamps

The back is fitted with a sealed junction box with 2 meters of cable terminating in battery clamps

Shade tolerance
Actual tests by our  technician show the amps generated is proportional to the unshaded area (EG: 70% amps output with 30% shaded area). This is superior to mono and poly-crystalline solar panels which are greatly affected by any amount of shaded area of the solar module.

Therefore these amorphous solar panels might be larger than an equivalent crystalline solar panel but they are well suited for applications where they must produce an effective output in part shade.
