LED Dome Light with 91 SMD LEDs

This high brightness LED light with white ABS plastic body and stainless steel fittings is waterproof, shockproof, vibration proof and rustproof.  The LED dome light has a total beam spread of  120°.

LED Lights available with warm white, cool white and red colour
These  LED light units are  available in warm white and cool white light colours. They are also available with red and white LEDS in one unit. The combination LED lights have 30 red LEDS and 61 white LEDs in a single light unit with separate wiring attached for each colour so they can wired up with separate switches. Switches are not included, but we do have other models with switches. Choose your preference from the colour option drop down list.

Why red LED light is used
Red LEDs are used where white light might affect night vision such as boat cabin lights. A white light might cause temporary vision impairment  but pure red light does not affect night vision. It is not true that green light is better for night vision, that only applies to electronic surveillance equipment such a night vision equipment which are 'blind' to green light. The human eye sees red light as a dim light even though it is bright enough to use as source of illumination.

Total LED Light brightness
The white LEDs have a brightness of 1400 Lumens, equal to a 60 watt Halogen lamp. The combination White and Red LED lamps have 30 red LEDs with a brightness of 400 lumens and 61 white LEDs with a brightness of 900 lumens equal to a 40 watt Halogen lamp.

LED Lights for Caravans and Boats
These very bright LED Lights are sealed against water and dust by a resin filler. The sealed design enables it to be fully submersible without water ingress.
These are the brightest interior/exterior dome lamps available, they utilise latest technology SMD LEDs which are compact yet bright LEDs with wide angle radiance. They can be used for caravans, boats or outdoor areas. Each LED light has 40 cm of  electrical wiring attached for easy connection. It can be run off  DC voltage from 10 volts to 30 volts and can be connected to 12V or 24V batteries.
