Product Details The 4.8 watt portable solar panel is a tough non-glass dual solar panel kit with a total output capability of 12v/400mA when both panels are connected together using the central connector (see photos).The solar panels can also be used separately, each with its own USB output socket to charge up 2 mobile phones or similar small portable devices at the same time, its like having two charger in one.

The solar kit is designed to be opened like a book for use and closed when not in use. it is the size of a average book and light and compact for carrying in your backpack

Accessories:

Two USB cables: Connect to USB socket on portable solar panel

One 12 V socket cable: Connect to 3mm round 12V socket on the side and connect panels using the central connector

Three mobile phone Adapters that connect to the USB cables: Nokia 2mm round pin, MotorolaV3 (Mini USB), Ericsson K750 ( more connectors here)

Functions:

1.One solar panel can supply power to a Mobile phone, MP4, MP3, PSP, PDA, GPS, Digital camera etc; using two solar panels it can charge two digital devices at the same time. In full sunshine it can charge one mobile phone fully in 2-3 hours .
2.Double-solar panel can supply power to 12V devices and can tricke charge 12 Volt batteries but it will not be able to charge a flat car battery.
3.It can also be used to charge up a storage battery like the PE01 which can then used as stand-alone charger using its cable and adapter tips.
4.Each panel has charge indication LED lights which vary in intensity with the voltage produced by the solar panel. The red LED light will be off when there is no sunlight or dim when there is low sunlight due to shadows or cloudy sky.
