The Suntech 10 watt solar panel provides enough current to recharge small 12 volt batteries, it will even provide enough solar power to keep a standard car battery topped up. This is a Multicrystalline (polycrystalline) solar panel that will put out enough power to trickle charge a small 12V car battery or deep cycle battery to run pumps, lights, fans, and small appliances such as stereos, televisions and VCRs in caravans, boats or cabins.

The solar panels are composed of 36 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells of similar performance, interconnected in series to obtain the 12 volt output. Heavy-duty anodized aluminium frames provide strength for rugged all-weather use and convenient mounting access. Unique textured surface and bypass diodes ensure sunlight is fully utilised to attain maximum photovoltaic effect. The solar cells are laminated between high transmissivity, low-iron, 3mm tempered glass and a sheet of tedlar-polyeaster-tedlar (TPT) material sandwiched between two sheets of ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA). This protects the solar panel from moisture ingress.
