Solar Backpack Features
Power is obtained by a solar charger consisting of a solar panel and storage battery to recharge your cell phone, digital camera, PDs, GPS, PSP games player or MP3.

The solar panel is bonded to the backpack and generates 2.7 watts of power, a substantial amount of charging power for small devices, but it is not designed to charge larger, higher voltage devices such as laptops. (A laptop would require a larger unit like the Suntech portable panel).

Included with each bag is a Li-Ion battery pack, which stores solar power, so it is available when you need it, not just when the sun is up. The battery is housed in a pocket behind the solar panel with a set of 9 standard adapters for common cell phones and other devices. Included are an AC adaptor for charging the battery pack from mains supply and also a car adaptor.

The solar panel is a waterproof, scratch resistant, UV resistant, high efficiency monocrystalline cell. It generates up to 2.70 watts of power.
